I beat FF-X even though the gameplay was dated and the male lead was fruity as hell.  I guess it was kinda fun because of the combat and large variety of items/magic.  FF games are alright as long as you only play one every 5 years or so.

I had a gay friend try to convince me to play this game.  Once I saw the "dress sphere" garbage, I never looked at it again.  It's barbie for otaku.

The battle system here is really great, fast and effective.

Well, you get to dress anime girls up.  That must float someone's boat.

I will give this game a chance if someone tells me its better than 12. Although I can't pinpoint what exactly is wrong with 12, it just doesn't feel like final fantasy anymore, and I'm uninterested in moving forward.

I loved 1, couldn't get into 2.
