Luckily, I just watched this last weekend.  Neve Campbell and the black chick were hot - the rest were trailer trash.  This ranks up there with one of those movies I saw too many times, and is representative of the 90s.

I'd fuck Ben Stiller's wife in it, but only after she lost her hair.

We were discussing this movie earlier, and it's funny looking back at the movie.  When this was made, that was like, over-the-top goth.  My how gothier we've become.  I'm more gothy than that, and I'm not goth at all.

Haha, yeah, I totally thought this was WAY gothy back in the day.  It's pretty low key by comparison to today's modern emo society.

I think I remember watching this when I rented The Relic and Mimic all on the same night.

I rank this up there with those horribly awesome movies from the 90s that take themselves really seriously - paging Dante's Peak.

I would take Dante's Peak and The Craft over RV and CLICK any day of the week.  I'd take grade B horror drek like The Relic, Leprechaun, Jason Goes to Hell, New Nightmare and other assorted crap over stuff like SAW 3, as well.

Yeah but apparently we're at the point with filmmaking where natural disasters are not as exciting as a movie about a remote control or RV. I mean come on, its like they arent even trying. Or hell all those romantic comedies with Jennifer Aniston or whatever that the industry is gagging on.

New Nightmare is pretty awesomely bad, but only because of the ending.  It did pave the way for Craven to do Scream, so I give it that much.  But overall, what a horrible way to end an otherwise good flick.  As it stands, I will watch it on cable.

But I also used to watch all the CRITTERS and PUMPKINHEAD movies on cable too.

Pumpkinhead :lol

I saw one of them. It starts off by showing how he was killed as a kid, and then the rest of the movie is about him killing all the jocks who killed him. Pretty fun movie if you've got nothing else to watch. Plus there are some absolutely funny 90's cliches. And the plaid...oh the plaid :-\

Has anyone dared to watch the Blair Witch Project sequel (the one Daily Radar called the best sequel since Empire Strikes Back)?  That's pretty funny.

I won't go so far as to defend it, but I didn't think it was particularly bad.  There were some nice ideas in it.  The cast really brought it down though.  I can understand wanting to go with no namers, but I swear they pulled the cast in off the street.  If the script were a bit more polished, it could've been a legitimately good movie.
