The deadline was August 1st, but they said you can apply after the deadline. So I'm thinking it's all good.

lol harsh.  I know it's possible to transfer with like a 2 week notice, but I doubt that works the same with applying.

Honestly, it depends on the year I believe. Depends on how many applicants they have and various other factors I would think. Did a lazy friend of yours apply late or something? If he has a really good transcript, he might get some leeway. Otherwise, I'm gonna say the chances are slim - even if it is a state college, which I believe you were planning on attending.
