My PC keeps crashing

Usually right after I turn it on.  It will run normally for about 10 minutes and then just reset itself, giving me a blue screen (which goes away so quickly I can't see what the error is), and then run fine for a while, only to reset again.  Does anyone have any idea of what's going on or how to look up what the error is?

I've had issues with this PC overheating in the past, and I'm wondering if also maybe it's related to the external hard drive (which is not on right now) or external DVD burner I have hooked up via USB.

really the best thing to do is just unhook stuff untill you isolate the hardware causing this to happpen...

If you have unhooked everything and it keeps rebooting id say its a mbd issue.

right click my computer -> properties
go to the advanced tab
go to settings for startup and recovery
make sure automatically restart is unchecked

that should keep the blue screen intact until you manually restart with ctrl+alt+del if i'm not mistaken

Thanks for the help.  It said something about a "page reload error" last time it crashed.  I tried unplugging the external DVD burner and hard drive I have hooked up, and found that with the DVD burner not plugged in, the PC was running much smoother and not getting so hot.  Guess that's what the issue was...PC hasn't crashed since.  I'm only going to use that burner when I need it now.

LOL, it crashed right when I started up.   :-\

I get "Bad_Pool_Caller" as the error.

hmm... googled around a bit and there should be a stop(0x000000##) message with a string of numbers that will tell you more specifically what the problem is.
