Today I got a 360 Pro, Call of Duty 4, Lost Planet, and Crackdown. Hopefully it doesn't RROD right out of the box.

I bought one on at Kmart yesterday that didn't have those packed in yesterday. I returned it today and then went straight to FYE. Got it with the games packed in plus they gave me a $30 mail in rebate for I don't know what. :D

M:UA is good if you just want to have some dumb fun.  Forza 2 is AAA but I don't really dig realistic racing games.  The selection of cars is great though.

Do you have a laptop?

you can share a connection with that (ethernet between the two)

don't know exact details though

or you can try to find 360 wireless adapter for cheap/used somewhere like ebay

That's okay. I've never heard of any stores in my area doing the price match thing anyway.

I like MUA a lot, but don't use it as any graphical benchmark :p  That wa sa holiday release from last year, and it decidedly lacks some polish.  I had a lot of fun with that game, though.  I still throw it in sometimes.

I dunno I always thought car games have kinda hit a ceiling in terms of visuals. Dirt looks pretty awesome, but Forza 2 looks too clean and for that reason I prefer PGR4

I believe it's in the 360's "greatest hits" collection (or whatever the hell it's called) so that'd run you around 30 bucks new but I'm sure you could pick it up cheaper than that used.

Oh yeah, get EDF 2017.

I wouldn't pay $10 for it.  it's even missing 30 achievement points.

edf is the best 360 co-op game.  I bought it at $40 (full price) and have since then put about 80 hours into it.  it's just pure awesome.

and condemend is a survival horror game in first person where you can get into fights with hobos using planks and lead pipes or whatever you find in the environment around you.  it's fucking awesome melee combat.  and there are guns (you're a cop) but they're really limited so it's really tense.

Dead Rising and Condemned are both great games and you should pick them up.

You should also pick up the last game in the epic Halo trilogy, Halo 3™.

I actually saw EDF, but I wasn't sure if I should get it.

EDF is fucking nuts.  It's a decidedly 'B' grade game but I mean that in the best possible way.  It's just you and the rest of the EDF army battling colossal robots and swarms of giant ants in Japan while you level your character up and collect a ton of weapons. The amount of stuff the game throws at you and the scale of your character running around fighting these absolutely massive enemies is really something to see.  I swear there isn't a game out there that's more chaotic than the last several levels in EDF.  And the best thing is that the game can be had for cheap.

it's totally different.  the first one you basically raise the animals and take care of their habitat and micromanage some things and then breed them while trying to keep the "food chain" under control.  it's a lot more addictive and charming than it sounds.  in the second one, it's basically like a party game (sort of like mario party with pinatas) and you do mini-games and races or something and whoever has the most points at the end of a "round" wins (like mario party).  there's demos of both I think and party animals is actually pretty fun but I think you'd like the first one more.

What's an OMG looking single player 360 game that came out recently? Mass Effect and Blue Dragon? Anything else? If not, then which one of those two should I get? I wanna buy one more full priced game that's not an FPS.

A good full priced single player game? I'd say Mass Effect but you may like Blue Dragon since I know that you, like me, like jappa rpgs.

No. No other FPS games else until I'm done with CoD4. Plus I don't think Orange Box meets my great looking game criteria. I will get it eventually though for Portal.

It's a tough decision. On one hand, Blue Dragon is the best high budget jrpg in years. On the other hand, Mass Effect is a really good game that feels like the next step for cinematic rpgs..argh.

Gears of War
My friend owns Gears of War and Halo 3. I'm not buying them.

BeoWulf. It's $20 on gamestop.com but not in stores. Meaning after you get the easy as balls achievements you can trade it for more then you spent. Gotta be quick about it though.
I'm not demi. Don't recommend me shitty games just for achievements. >:(
