I'm pretty sure I'm gonna buy these now that they're 800 points each. Lumines has always been on my radar due to it being a puzzle game, and I played Live last night and it was pretty cool. I played the trial version of MBU as well and it was great. Obviously a Super Monkey Ball knockoff, but still fun. Any reason why I shouldn't pull the virtual trigger?

I thought Marble Blast Ultra was 400pts now. Isn't it? Either way, you should definitely pick it up. It's missing some personality but it's still one of the best games on XBLA. A lot of fun.

Oh, is it? Awesome. Definitely getting it then. I'm gonna get Lumines, too. demi, it's not complete, but I bet it'll give me enough entertainment for the $10. What exactly is missing? Just more skins?

You can get all achievements off the Base Pack though, I got my version for free for review

fo sho, use a guide to find all the eggs, and browse youtube for the time-related achievements

the multiplayer is pretty lame, so its just mostly work (and luck if you can find a game online) to get 2000 points

I really don't get the point of Lumines.

MBU is great, but most of the last bracket of levels are just fucked. Not much fun to be had there. and there's one intermediate I still can't finish under par, the one with the 4 gems and the ice on thin ledges.\

edit: I found an online game in 10 seconds, 3 or 4 opponents. I won 28 to 11,6,5,3 or something in my first match.

Do the easter eggs take long to snag?

At first, I really didn't like Lumines too much (usually I get addicted to puzzle games right away), but I played last night and it clicked. Puzzle games

And I got under par on that level already, Admiral. lol owned

I'll have to go back and try it again and try to tell you what I did exactly. I just finished the game now. Didn't get under par in all the advanced levels, though. Not sure if I'll ever pull that off. Time for the easter eggs!

its pretty cool, i like the type of people online in marble blast, very chill most of the time

also you can crash the game using the mega marble powerup and enough people
