plus by the time most men are 30 we have stable jobs and a decent income.  we have our shit together.  plus we're slowly beginning to realize that we are now in control.

the ball is in OUR fucking court.

most women are either...
A ) Now divorced and fucked up emotionally
B ) Have kids
C ) Are aging and looking fugly
D ) Are now fat and their self esteem is dropping according to how fast their waist is growing

fuck yes!

men peak physically, emotionally, and in maturity much later than women. Which is why most couples the women is younger.

i dunno.  i think a lot of the "mature" women are just as immature as men, if not more so.  I don't think it has as much to do with maturity as it does with social status changing.

women in their 20's = attractive and desirable by social standards
men in their 30's = attractive and desirable by social standards

Men don't have a biological clock click to make them wanna settle down like women so it is easier for them to be assholes who sleep around and make no money till they are 30.

thats true.

I'd say for both sexes the idea of settling down in mid 20's seems too young. The average age for first marriage is consistently increasing. It will probably break 30 in not too long.

which isn't a bad thing at all.  i think ~30 is the right age for that kind of commitment.

besides, according to my theory, men will control the marriage at that age :hyper  lolz

I agree. This shift of marriage from late 20's to early 30's makes life easier. I mean who would want to live in the 50's where you were married by like 21? No time to just have fun then.

Mupepe you are going to the 35 year old guy who goes for the hot women who have 3 kids and make no money so they are desperate arentcha? :)

i dunno man, a lot of my girl-friends are getting real close to 30 without a long term relationship.  i'm sure it's in their head that the clock is ticking, but in general it seems like both men and women these days are getting married in their 30s.  all my friends flipped when they found out i was getting married at the age of 25.

i think women in their 30s are pretty hot imo.  might be cause i'm getting old.

Cheebs: Fuck no.  Why would I want all that baggage?  fuck that.  she can't have any more kids than I have.

I think women in their 30's are hot too.  but society deems them as if their time in the spotlight as ended.  same thing with women who still feel like shit because they don't look like a super model even when the average man doesn't want them to.

and i'm not saying all of them are in a long term relationship in their 20's.  in fact, i'm saying the opposite.  it's their time to shine and they're all running around getting laid and indulging themselves (for the most part).  But then their 30's hits and all of a sudden... men have the upper hand.

Black people lol

Also PD you don't benefit from this awesomeness of bachelorhood till 30 being the norm. Black people still marry a lot younger than whities. :(

my teacher asked her parent's friends who were in the WW2 generation how long they dated before they got married.  most of them had about 4-5 dates and then they got married and the guy went off to war for 2 years.

one couple she asked actually met at a bachelorette party where the husband was engaged to another girl that the party was for.  the guy called off the wedding and like 2 weeks later married the other girl.

I mean really, once you got out of high school you had to consider marriage.

Getting married before 25 seems like a fucking joke to me. I'm avoiding serious relationships just because of this: I'm not getting married anytime soon, so why waste money and time on a woman right now? Waiting until 30 sounds even better actually.

A guy should never get married unless he has a stable career. It's a big mess to get married while in college or when you can't provide an income.

Heh, that's not a good thing... :P I dunno about you but I refuse to go out with any girl who falls into those categories... Gotta go for the nubiles I guess!

5 more years till I hit the big 3-0. Hope to find someone nice to marry before then. I will def. have my own house/condo before then, too, at the rate I'm going.

hehe   i wouldn't either.  i was just more or less stating reasons as to why women couldn't be so choosy in their 30's as they can in their 20's.  and then the normal ones that are left realize their shit is going downhill and they'll be like "oh mupepe, you're better than nothing!"  LOLZ
