I bought some PS2 Component Cables.

Bought some playstation 2 component cables which promise to have a clearer picture then regular a/v cables and I find this statement to very accurate. Instead of a blurry mess of pixels ps2 games looked like on my HDTV before, now I can see the clear jaggedy edges of truthiness this cable has brought my ps2 games. I like it better still. But the truth is ps2 games look like crap.

Yeah, thats the reality of the PS2 on an HDTV.  The component cables do help, but the games still look pretty unpleasant for the most part.  Some of the better games do look nice if they offer a progressive scan option though.
