Fill me in on the Windows XP scene...

So I'm going to switch back to Windows very soon.

Obviously I'm not buying that shit. So how well can you use XP if it's warez? I hear Microsoft has done some things and stuff. Also I want to hear what you guys do against your Windows slowing down after some use (defrag, registry cleaner, whatever).

I've missed out on so much software. Can't wait to use 3DS MAX again.

Its the best windows thus far IMO. Uh yeah there are plenty of rips of XP out there, even some like 9 in one cds with pro, home, media center edition, etc. on one CD (not DVD). At least thats my favorite, its rather hard to find now, but the release group is called XISO.

Anyway cleaning wise, I defrag once a month, use crap cleaner for other stuff. Also I used to use a program called registry mechanic, it works wonders.

Yeah I'm sure the microsoft people are well aware of our insanly popular forum. Plus we haven broken any laws by talking about it. Nor would it be smart to charge us, being it:

a) a waste of money to sue us
b) they have no means of communication to let those know they are being sued
c) no precedent for a lawsuit
