They are dead on about Orange Box for PS3 - in comments and score.

IGN - 8.4
Gamespot - 9

I have encountered the loading, I have encountered the frame-rate hick-ups. (its like a brief hitch usually encountered when a game is loading something, etc... not a consistent drop in frame-rate - its more like a pause where you lose a few frames)

The only thing that isnt an issue is the comments IGN made about the online - they were testing with a server in EU tho and I have played it on >EA Online<'s dedicated NA servers.

The PS3 version has a better contrast IMO - but like Jericho, im sure you can likely adjust the X360's contrast setting in game to get the same look. I recommend making the X360 version a little darker the blacks look less gray and the other FX like the water etc look sharper.

The online TFII is OK and supports EA's managed voip chat.

Clearly no need to buy unless you have never played Orange box and ONLY own a PS3 - or like me have reasons for double dipping.

So far I also agree with all of the UTIII reviews....speaking of - I need to go play now.

Oh the XMB music in the PS3 edition when you have the blu ray game disk highlited sounds great ;)

Looking at videos, it appears 1up was full of shit, as usual.  Most of the slowdown seems to occur in the vehicle sections, usually associated with saving or loading content, and it doesn't appear to be that big of a deal.

Like I said, it's definitely a negative, but no reason to pass on the game if you haven't played it and don't have access to a PC or 360.  Hopefully the PS3 assholes aren't too pigheaded to pass on it.  But I bet they are.

Have you tried Episode 2?  Supposedly that's where the worst slowdown occurs.  Why do you need to get the PS3 ver. when you have a 360?
