I'm working in the mac lab today

That mouse that comes with the mac is absolute rubbish. I'm having to plug in the Drinky Sex Mouse (tm) to get this thing to be at all tolerable. This usb keyboard is fer girly mice with no lights or scrollwheel. This USB keyboard feels like it was made inside a sopping vagina.

Yeah, I like Macs and all, but they really need to step up their peripheral game.  It's not like it's that hard to make a non-awful mouse and keyboard.  It doesn't have to be fancy. 

At least their laptop keyboards and touch pads are pretty ace.

I need to go pick one of those up - but i dread going to the mall that has an apple store in it at the moment.

Yeah, not really.  The clit on both of the mighty mice I have owned broke within a few weeks.  Maybe you got a good one, but the build quality is suspect.  And the buttons are shitty.

I agree the side buttons are shitty - but i never had a scroll ball problem compressed air couldnt fix. And that was at the 9 month mark.

I hate Mac mouses. Whenever I am at the library at school and the only computers open are macs I end up going insane within 10 minutes.

They have stacks and stacks of broken apple hardware lying around. For example, there's a box of broken Powermac G4 keyboards over in the corner, and a room full of various broken mac computers downstairs.

I think the reason I'd have a hard time switching to a Windows laptop is because of the shittiness of trackpads on them. Two finger scrolling on the MBP is such a revelation for casual laptop usage (When I'm programming I plug in a mouse).
