Wtf? Is $35 the regular price of HD-DVDs and Bluray discs? Amazon made me believe that they were $20-$28. No wonder no one buys them.

Yup, the normal prices at CC/BB are ridiculously high.  Fry's is the only B&M stores that has HD movies decently priced.

Mupes, I checked out Wal-mart for HD movies as you suggested.  The local Walmart is crap for buying HD movies though.  They keep their tiny collection locked up in a shelve even though it's mostly made of stuff that no one would steal.

i got most of my kubrick movies along with the big lebowski and my bourne movies at wal mart   no one ever thinks to check there and the new stuff is almost always in stock for the first few days.

they only seem to carry either really new releases or really old releases they can't sell off

I haven't even bought a Blu-Ray yet, my Netflix account is doing well enough by me for now, as an aside, everybody needs to rush to see Rescue Dawn in HD.  ZOMG!
