Wipeout Pure was an okay stab at things, but it was missing something. That something is BACK in Pulse. The races rapidly become hectic pretty quickly and i friggen love it.

Game looks insanely good
The preinstalled music is awesome, but has support for custom sound tracks - add an extra 30 tracks to the game
Controls are tight
game isn't easy (a good thing)
Grid system is mildly amusing and appeals so far - we shall see how it gets on
Online - Japanese developers please note.
