Fried macaroni.

Boil macaroni elbow noodles until they're cooked, and drain. Throw them into a big frying pan with butter and some ketchup. Keep frying them, adding more and more ketchup, flipping them around and everything so they don't burn. It probably takes like 20 minutes or something, but then most of the noodles will be not soft but not totally crunchy hard. Salt and black pepper to taste.
It is SO GOOD. My grandfather used to make it for my mom and her brothers, and my mom made it for my brother and I. My brother doesn't like it anymore because it's "weird", which it is, but it's yummy.
I've started adding a bit of buffalo chicken wing sauce to mine these past few years, which has kicked it up a notch.
