MTV's report on the Sony event reveals that PS3's Genji: Day of the Blade will use the PS3's internal hard drive to help with load times. Selecting an option to "install" some components from the Blu-ray disk to the hard drive will decrease load times from 15 seconds to 4 seconds.

I'm personally highly in favor of this because there's no chance Sony's going to take out the Bluray drive (and hence make games compressed which I'm assuming is going to make it faster to read off the disc).

Why would this be bad?
Take up space and time to install.  Probably not that much time but I would be worried about losing space.

Dude, it's a 60GB HD. Besides if you can install stuff, you can un-install stuff lolz; I doubt many people will keep Genji installed on their PS3s for long

3 minutes and 4 gigabytes.  It's the only real incentive for the average owner to get the 60 gb version.

This is actually a really great idea!  I was worried about install times...  but if this is a good fix to it, then fuck I'll chill for a few minutes while it loads on there just to not have to worry about 15 seconds in between screens.

SWEET idea!

I wouldn't like it because the load times could be shorter in the first place if it didn't have a Bluray drive and the 20 GB will only last 3-4 games before you have to delete them.  Lack of variety basically.
