well I'd imagine they would put the PC version to a higher standard.  that is a massive difference for essentially no major improvements though.  1UP gives a lot of distinguished mentally-challenged reviews though which could explain the PC version.

I haven't played either version.  (I did just order the PS3 version)  I didn't look at the reviews.  All I know is that the 1uppers themselves were saying that the PC version is obviously better on the 1up Yours Podcast.  Shawn Elliot from GFW Magazine said "I don't think you guys will even be playing this three months from now" in regards to the PS3 version.

So what the fuck?

this is why I don't read game reviews anymore.  unless it's 6/10 or 2/5 or under, I don't feel a need to really consider the reviews.

Crowded?  Shit, the PS3 alone has Resistance, Orange Box, Call Of Duty 3, Call Of Duty 4, R6 Vegas, Blacksite Area 51, and Warhawk and GRAW2 if you want to count those!

I can't click the links, but didn't a GFW guy review the PC version? They have a scale that puts 5 as average and 8 as a really good game.

So, it means it's slightly above average.

Im more concerned with the strange gap between the PS3 and PC version. I happen to like UT3 but I can see why people dont but umm, lets be consistent

1up doesn't use the same system as gamestop.  The PC review can't be directly compared to the Console review becase they don't have the same staff working for PC and consoles.  The PC review crew basically does its own thing with no regards for the console side.  Btw, Tom Chick wrote the PC review.  Wtf?

i had fun with UT2k4 though. console doesn't have anything to do with it. maybe if TF2 had bombing run. maybe in TF3.
