Okay so I got a $100 mall gift voucher from my employer for xmas, but I cant figure out what I want with it. right now Im leaning towards the PSP but I dont know how much a decent memory stick costs... help me out! Im really not sure about this shit

I'd say go with the PSP... you'd probably get a kick out of Mega Man: Powered Up, Crush, Lumines, Every Extend Extra, Gradius Portable, and Gurumin, and it's a helluva lot cheaper than a PS3.

40G PS3s are $675, probably a waste of money, only want one for Blu-ray playback and MGS4. Apperently component cables arent even fucking included = fail

PSP lites are $299 so $100 off is nice, checked out mem stick prices and they are 100 bux for a few gig too... but since I dont have acess to a psp phat its gonna be afew months before I can hack the thing, so that = have to buy some games too which = more $$$ spent

a DS lite is the cheapest option, I play my DS heaps... but my old pink DS phat is getting pretty knackered, the touch screen is going and the buttons are really well worn. Ive got around 40 DS games so a DS lite with the nice screen and stuff makes sense too....

im pretty much going to go for the PSP I think

My cousin picked up an 80 gigger--the MotorStorm bundle.

He updated the firmware....

Bricked.

He had to send it to Sony for repairs after spending time troubleshooting the problem with customer service at Sony.

I'd say go for the PSP. it has a shitload to pirate for a portable (even SNES games!) plus it doesn't look like there's much to interest you on the PS3. there's MGS but that'll come to 360 a little later and I'd imagine it'll only be a year before PS3 gets another price drop for bluray movies. however if you really want bluray movies than PS3 is the obvious choice. even then you might want to get a PSP on top of it (depending on how much less it costs) for the PSP-PS3 connectivity stuff.

honestly, if I bought a PS3 it would only be to watch Blu-rays, there is not one exclusive game that interests me, only MGS4 and that isnt even out yet. Oh thats right Im paying for potential, that changes everything
