I played bits before of it. Like I have done the Den of Evil quest like at least 600 times.

But I was doing the quest to kill the Countess in the Forgotten Tower and after I SLAYED HER gold and shit just started pouring out of EVERY SINGLE ORIFICE

And it was small amounts of gold of course since I'm still early and I probably ain't seen nothing, but JESUS FUCK if picking up shit and hoarding it isn't fun.

Is there a way to examine an item without equipping it/picking it up?

And someone spill the beans about diablo 3, whores.

How is it not? It's the natural progression of the hack and slash from Diablo.

I think it primarily being MMO based is what makes it way different than Diablo. I agree that their are similarities but I would like a traditional Offline Diablo with instanced Dungeons instead of fully being Online.

Oh yes, I want that too. But when I played WoW. I felt like i was playing a new diablo online. Same treadmill gameplay.

One of the worst series ever

CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICKCLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICKCLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICKCLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICKCLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICKCLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICKCLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK

That's all its gameplay consists of. We were having a computer RPG renaissance in the mid to late nineties, but Diablo games came along and ruined it all with their distinguished mentally-challenged clickfest gameplay that overshadowed everything Black Isle Studios and others were doing.

I'm glad to know that Blizzard tried many times to make a Diablo III but that every time it failed to meet up their "standards". Hopefully they never succeed.

Diablo's mindless isometric dungeon hacking might be addictive, but it sucks. Blizzard fanboys are the worst videogame fanboys of all.

FFXII has all the deep gameplay of Diablo II without the tedious clicking. The game clicks for you!

If you are trying to argue "Diablo II is shallow, all you do is click" in 2007 then you are a dumb dumb.

Oh, wait, you're Mondain.

yeah it was because of the fighting craze.  it was all right at the time but it wasn't anything special.  a year or two later I played starcraft and if you told me the same company made the justice league game, I would have been surprised.

Let's see, my opinions on the Blizzard library

Warcraft:  The first one was awesome.  I remember gettiung a demo disk, a 3.5 floppy, months before the game came out and playing it to death on my shitty 386.  It wasn't even fast enough to play Warcraft at full speed, and I *still* played it to death.  I think I played Dune 2 more though, mainly because myc omputer could run it full speed, lol.

Warcraft 2:  I had a 486 (I think) by the time this came out, and I played it to death.  I think I was between machines when the exp hit, though.

Diablo: Played this on my first Pentium, I played it A FUCKING lot.

Starcraft:  Never got too into it.  Probably why I am not so huge on Starcraft II.

Diablo II:  OMG best game ever.  I still play it to this day.  Blizzard should have released MOAR EXPANSIONS.

Warcraft 3:  Couldn't get into it.  It was the first game of theirs that felt like a disappointment to me.  Scale was so small compared to other RTSes of the day, and even though it's, as warcock would say, all about the micro, it doesn't really have that much depth, in my opinion.  It just plays like an RTS where you only have a few units.  And the heroes mechanic SOILED RTS games for years afterwards.

WoW:  Like the second best game ever behind Diablo 2.

well the advantage of WC3's smaller battles was that you had to move faster to defend your base and it was easier to use the special abilities of your units.
