My wife, a friend, and I stumbled upon this shop while driving around looking for a place to eat.
The place's name sounds like "
GANG RAPE." Inside is a dirty little store filled with toys in the front, and a huge, HUGE area with fan-made hentai comics in the back, depicting your favorite anime or game characters getting violated or worse.
The guy in the front of the shop selling the toys looked just like Itagaki from Team Ninja, right down to the jacket and sunglasses. And the guy in the back was a middle-aged, balding man who looked to be silently praying for someone to put him out of his misery. While we were there, this high school (?) kid came in, bought a ton of porn, then ran out to his bicycle and high-tailed it with his black bag of shame prominently displayed in his front basket. Did I mention that this shop is also very close to a technical university and a high school?
Just another day in Japan.
