External Storage : N00b needs helps

So, with the PC coming i want to add some sort of external storage option that i can transfer

At the moment i have a whole bunch of drives and have been thinking about getting a NOVAC 6 drive enclosure.

However, i can't help but feel that i'm missing something.

This will be to store all my music, photos, PSP stuff, etc...

Can any of the experts help?

Is this a question about consolidating all that Data from those various drives?
