disappointing the psp lite didn't come with a case to put this pretty beast in like the original psp

You should pandora the PSP. Custom firmware on this thing is awesome.

And get an 8 gig memory card. It makes the PSP an awesome portable media player.

Im no expert but It should allow you to do cool stuff like pirate games etc

It allows to:

-customize gui,
-load games directly from your memory stick, thus saving battery life. But it's great not having to switch discs especially with a portable system.
-install emulators.

-play psone games directly from memory stick. The process can be a bitch, though, meaning ripping the PSone games to PC so you can install it on a memory stick.

PSP never had a case. It had a crappy soft slip "sock" included before, which did nothing to protect it.

I wish Logitech would hurry up and release a PlaygearPocket for the 2000 series, but until then the Hori hardcase I have does the job.

It's so damn easy to hack. I hacked like five of them over the years at different stages of "hackiness." It's gotten really easy and now you just need to find a way to make or get a Pandora Battery.
