We're flying home tomorrow, we better not get stuck in Salt Lake City or I WILL kill someone.

We had to spend the night in Minneapolis on the way to Omaha due mechanial problems... it was not fun.

We flew through SLC and Denver as well on Wednesday. Luckily it was just in time to miss the mess.

Good luck sir.

oh god chicago ohell international airport this year, american (I learned my lesson about United last year!) reamed me through that airport without lube

3 hour delay due to-get this-STUFF FREEZING (hey no shit, it's CHICAGO), missed connection to pasco, had to drive to there from fucking YAKIMA, argh. Total time getting from Chapel Hill to her parent's place-19 hours.

on the way back, ANOTHER delay in O'Hell for no apparent reason, got into RDU at like 2:00AM EST. A bit better on the back, only 15  hours.

traveling cross country is godawful

We missed our flight in Salt Lake City since Delta made our flight sit on the runway in Omaha for thirty fucking minutes before we could lave. Luckily, we got out on the 9:30pm flight to Seattle last night.

So glad to be home!

Seriously? I missed my connection in Denver because the Delta flight I was on drove around the tarmac for nearly an hour. El capitan came on the intercom and explained they couldn't get a word in with air traffic control who was landing planes left and right, clogging up the tarmac... something like that.

I love planes to death, but I hate commercial air travel so much.
