I'm 22, a little younger than you're looking for, but I loved my Legos and Lite Bright. I also loved Tinker Toys. Of course I always watched my Nickelodeon and played NES.

I had a Pee Wee's Playhouse that I LOVED. I never really got into Barbie. I loved Pound Puppies, and Polly Pocket was cool. Littlest Pet Shop was awesome.

Oh, and my little brother always got various Hot Wheels cars and racetracks and stuff that I used to steal and play with.

I think these were all the main ones. I had shitloads of Joes and Transformers; loved them. TMNT just got to the point of being way too stupid. although I remember having were the original Turtles and Shredder anyway. I remember getting the Turtlevan for a birthday present and being all

Then around 12 years old action figures lost their appeal and got really, really shitty quality-wise. I know a huge part of it is nostalgia, but it's like the nineties hit and toys just went to shit. I did keep on getting Toybiz Marvel action figures though, eventually giving them all to my cousin. What a waste of allowance and chore money that was.

THe only toys i remember offhand were Legos, Construx (<3), and the typical cartoon tie-in toys of Transformers, Voltron, Gobots, etc.

Shit, i remember being like ten and letting the kid sitting on the bus seat ahead of me play with my Gobot. When he returned it over the brown pleather bus seat, it was sans tires. Being the little bitch that i was, i just looked at it, tireless, and did nothing but steam very quietly.

Sometime later that year, i traded my Tengen Tetris for his Double Dragon. He never got Double Dragon back. Double Dragon > shitty Gobot toys = i win.

Family Matters lol. It was ok before Urkle took over the whole show. Out of early 90's characters people trash Elmo but of the early 90's icons Urkle was by far the most annoying.

I also had some Macross and Gundam toys that my relatives stationed in Japan sent me that I absolutely loved.

I loved Battle Beasts when I was little. I used to have wars with them since they had stickers on them with specific elements (fire, wood, water) attached. I may go on ebay and see if I can some grab some for nostalgia's sake. Also I remember having this abomination as well:

Lots of Star Wars figures. The Imperial Walker (it was pretty big for a toy), etc. Other Star Wars stuff.

It all got crunched into dust. Today, all of it together would be worth at least a few thousand.

The Star Trek bridge with transporter was nice. I had a Scotty, Kirk, and Spock figure. The transporter had a button and it would spin around, making the figure "dissapear" by spinning it to the back and having the front show the empty chamber.
