Why would I watch a movie considered one of the worst of the decade?

You can like it but calling one of the most hated movies of the decade a classic is a big joke.

Want proof they are for black people?

There is NEVER tyler perry movie trailers played before romantic and drama movies. There is almost never tyler perry tv spots played on ABC/CBS/NBC...etc for new movies. Tyler Perry movie advertising is almost exclusively put on black aimed tv entertainment like CW shows or BET and in black churches.

Hell PD and I talked about this. He is the one who said they only advertise tyler perry movies to black people on black related channels and shows.

That being said, it's not the worse thing ever, and I'm not particularly shocked that many white people find the films so "bad". You have no frame of reference to the characters and concepts presented in the film, even if you are a church going person. I would bet that Himu and Beezy like certain aspects of the film in part because it reminds them of situations they've witnessed, people they know, etc. I don't give a fuck what Roger Ebert has to say about this type of film. I do know that nearly every member of my extended family has seen the movie, and all my female family members like it. Despite not being a strictly religious film many black churches actually show it on weekends, and older people are brought to the church on church buses just to see it (including my grandma) lol.
