yeah, I turned it back on and it "works" (sound) again
but no video. I'll let it rest 20-25 minutes to make sure it's as-cool-as-possible, but I fear the worst.
questions:

1) How do I make sure my new system is one of the "cooler" chipsets?
2) I assume the HDD swap is straightforward, so I can keep all my saves?
