Don't believe the hate.

It's got the typical post-Sonic Adventure Sega bullshit tangent levels, but the standard gameplay levels (which are probably 2/3 or more of the game) are ace.

Have you played it or no?

Download a save state of the completed game and there's nothing to complain about.

The standard levels are exactly like the Saturn one (well, except for the bird chasing which doesn't change much), if you like that I don't see how you could hate this.

I liked NiGHTS: JoD. Where the original game was a 9/10, the sequel is more of a 7. The game would've been so much better if Sega gave Sonic Team a couple of months to polish things up. It's still the second best game I've played on the Wii this year (not like that's impressive or anything).

The fluff is horrible, but the flight sections are fantastic. Great graphics, excellent music, and fantastic replayability. I am still playing it. Even the A-life is decent (I have 50 Nightopians collected at the moment).

Do you know where I could get a save with all the A rankings and dream drops collected? I really want to listen to the original OST and play as Elliot and Claris. I am too lazy to do it the hard way. :lol

Haven't done any of the A-life shit, doubt I will. Is each Nightopian unique?

Dunno where to get that. I'll upload my first-run file if anyone wants to try the game and skip the story.

Each Nightopian is unique to a certain extent. They all have different names but you'll run across a couple that look and act the same. If you liked the Chao farm stuff in SA1/2 you'll love My Dream. Just ignore the 1st gen PS2 graphics.

AV, do you mind asking on GAF about the save file? I'd do it myself, but I am banned for another two weeks. I'd really appreciate it! :)

What I meant is, if you paraloop one in a level, do they disappear in that level? I noticed the names in the gay runaround levels. Speaking of, how do you rescue the eggs in the runaround sections?

My favorite part of Chaos was actually evolving the little guys and putting them in races, none of that exists in My Dream does it?

They disappear in that level, but a different one appears in its place later. You don't have to worry about running out of Nightopians. I am not sure how to rescue them either in the on-foot sections. :lol

Nightopians don't evolve, but they bring along some pretty cool shit with them. I have a huge zeppelin and a Sega Saturn sitting in My Dream. :lol
