Author Topic: I still have Guitar Hero 1, should I throw it in the garbage? (Read 2726 times)

I have the guitar pack, but for some reason, the guitar has shit out and always says its unplugged randomly, but when it works, it works just fine. I've considered putting it on ebay, but I'm not sure if it's even worth anything at this point, now that it's flooded with every other Guitar Hero and 3rd party controller in existence.

Now that every other Guitar Hero after it, and Rock Band, pretty much have made it irrelevant to gaming, I'm at a stump on what to do with this excess.

Should I just pitch the guitar and box, keeping only the game for novelty purposes, if I feel like playing Symphony of Destruction on my controller? I don't really want to stuff this in my closet when I know I'll never play it. Rock Band takes up enough room as it is. Too much room.

Trade it all in while the guitar still works a little. There's obviously something wrong with the connection wire at the plug.

The chances of me pulling it out are pretty close to nil, though. Would GameStop even take this bundle in? Where is Jewco to answer this.

probably nothing worth anything. I actually dont trade games in over a year old anymore if I can really help it cause you get like 7 dollars for a game and thats just bullshit. Id rather just give it to someone in most cases. Dont you have a closet you can put the guitar in or maybe put it under the bed?

I sold GH1 w/Guitar on Ebay a month ago, and got $50 for it. I also sold GH2 w/Guitar (PS2) and got $70 for that one.
