Picked up Advance Wars and the 3rd Phoenix Wright today. I'll be playing some campaign probably all night and then I'll be ready for some multiplayer tomorrow night.

The gameplay is not comparable, DS is a broken mess and this game is perfect.

Sort of, yea. I was pretty pissed for 5 or 10 minutes but I got over it.

I had a lot of fun doing it, I don't mind doing it again so much. I turned off all animations and skipped all cutscenes and was up to mission 8 within like 40 minutes or so.

Sigh.

The problems I really have with the game didn't become apparent until later on in the campaign.  The "Fresh" graphics and music started to lose their appeal, the CO's don't really have much of an impact at all in battle which makes your playstyle largely samey regardless of who you use, I don't like that 450 pts is basically unattainable, and only having 12 COs in post-game really makes it dull to me.

I wish they would've put an extra 6 months into development.

You crazy boi. gfx/music whatevs, but the COs are pretty major once you get accustomed to the changes and start using them. I like that every single unit isn't constantly affected by boots, and powers aren't so uber.

Get some FCs off of AWN.

The dumbest/easiest mission has to be Feline/Cat Island or whatever.

I just realized that I can unlock all the T missions without doing C25 or C26, so I'm done redoing campaign now. Unless it's required for T14... I'll try beating T13 and T15 and see if that does the trick.

Beat Metro Marp with a B, took 41 days.

The only Trial Maps left to unlock are on the leftmost edge and the bottom edge. I have the two in the top left, and the four in the bottom right. So I guess I'm missing 8 of them.

Kind of a bitch to unlock now, very restrictive

I don't mind FFA stuff. Did you do Comb Island (or whatever, it's in the bottom left)? Everyone was saying it was super hard but I S ranked it in one try. It was fun.

My problem with Trial Maps is like a fifth of them can be won with an S rank by simply rushing the HQ and winning in 3 days.
