Pretty good write up, ferrariman.  I loved the Daytona games and I would love perfect console versions.  Sega will probably have to change the name as the Daytona license is worth some money these days. 

I remember how what a nice surprise it was unlocking the Daytona car and stage in Fighter's Megamix along with that awesome music.

If the demo is any indication, I may join you guys in Paradise City. It gave me that San Francisco Rush-like vibe with the billboards to smash.  :-*
