I hate how De Palma decided to show the ending in the beginning of Carlito's Way. It's an old technique that doesn't hold up at all. The movie is amazing but the first time I watched it I was just waiting for the moment for him to die.

I had read the book first so this didn't bother me.

Also, the soundtrack CD has some awesome cheesy disco/cuban music on it. worth torrenting if you see it!
