I like Melissa, and I don't really have an opinion on Catalyst. Can we just get this over with?

I wish we had threads like this at OA.
The ones where people voted overwhelmingly to ban catalyst?
and didn't follow through? yeah, of course  ::)

I like Melissa.  She's a good poster.

I don't like Catalyst.  He's a bad poster.

Threads on the front page started by Catalyst:

-Claudio Sanchez of Coheed & Cambria putting out a solo album
-Holy shit @ Prison Break
-Rebuilding at the WTC spot put on priority rather than finding more remains
-Why do people who speak internet ebonics refuse to change?
-Bunch of one-liners by talk show hosts about George Bush

He may be a racist piece of shit, but it's not evident here.

Melissa is fine.

My attention was brought to Catalyst because his attitude and posting style has brought the worst of OA home much like someone brings home a rancid bag of fast food from one of those locally owned fast food joints.

Listen, OA has some great posters, and we have let quite a few come over, but our system of authorization is CLEARLY not flawless. However I do believe that a MODERATORs judgement can be overturned by the will of the members. Ultimately all of YOU talk to him more than I do.

To be honest, Catalyst did slip in by accident.  He, like REIROM, was on a list of posters not to approve.  I just didn't connect the dots and now he's here.

My gawd.

I've defended too many douchebags at OA to be on this whole "bu bu bu that's what the ignore feature is for" thing, so I say get rid of the fucker. He contributes absolutely nothing but self-righteous assholiness and isn't even funny to boot. He's like Willco basically but he's not paying the bills here.

And as an added bonus, Melissa will leave in protest??? Fuck yeah, BAN HIM

Yeah, well, there are over 3000 people on my server right now now.  Most of which speak English.  Yeah, there are a lot of Japanese people, but there are more than enough people around.

That early in the game, I don't blame her for being the only English-speaking person that high... but now there are Europeans in endgame, and they got the last release.
