I do mean exclusive.  DMC4 with either controller makes me weep.  :'(

Yeah, I agree.
Sony really messed up the L2/R2 buttons.

When is Haze coming out?  I like Free Radical (to a point) and would consider buying it if I had little else to play.

Quote
Update: Ars was contacted by Ubisoft again last night to correct what was previously said: the new release window is indeed January-March 2008 (or Q4), and thus the game could very well end up arriving in March.

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=225787&highlight=haze

and it's like UT3, first PS3 then 360 as far as i know.

Cohen, you can use the PS2 controller on PS3 games with a USB adapter.

Speaking of controllers,  I would get Burnout for the PS3 if its triggers didn't suck so much.  Until the PS3 gets a controller with triggers, I don't think I'll be buying any multiplatform racers for it.

Are you serious?  That is fucking awesome.

Yeah, I've tried it before and it worked.  I've got a Pelican adapter which has a PS home button that makes it more easily compatible with PS3 games.  It supports many controllers including the PS2 GH controllers but it doesn't support rumble.

My USB adapter for the PC also works and does have rumble but the buttons aren't mapped correctly.  There are probably newer adapters now that are just as compatible as the Pelican without having to sacrifice rumble.

No one is talking about 360, they're asking about PS3. If PS3 had kept gamers' fingertips raw throughout 2007 like 360 had, no one would have asked the question. Couple that with the Sony contingent's OMG 2008 IS THE YEAR OF PS3 and a barren first half is kind of a head scratcher.

Most of my anticipated games this year are multiplatform but 360 has more interesting games than ps3 on the way.

I'll still get a ps3 for some game I forgot, but hey, whatever makes you sleep at night taco.

there is always the PC version.

Apparently the PC port of RE4 didn't even have mouse support; fans had to hack it in after release. So I don't have a whole lot of confidence in Capcom's concern for the PC gamer. I've never played any of the DMC games on PC though.

If I knew that would support PS2 arcade sticks (of which I have several), i'd buy it and VF5. But it doesn't quite say that anywhere. I'd been burned in the past due to differing button layouts. But on the other hand, I have 4 arcade sticks in the house and no way am i buying another boatload for this gen.

RE4, Onimusha 3 and DMC3 PC editions were developed and published by SourceNext in Japan, Ubisoft published them in the West.

It wasn't developed by Capcom or Ubisoft for that matter, if you want to see a good PC port handled in house by Capcom, see Lost Planet PC.

It also offers the tantalizing prospect of being able to use the awesome-o Logitech driving wheel in Forza 2 etc. but i strongly suspect if this was possible, they'd be trumpeting it all over the place. It probably supports wheels in some minimal fashion but only with the same degree of turn as the MS wheel and with no rumble or something equally butt-painful. Thanks for saving me $85! :bow

I really want to look forward to Burnout, but alas, the demo ruined it for me. Let me know how the final version is, I might change my mind if enough sane people like it.

I'm looking forward to Devil May Cry 4, while my wife REALLY wants Singstar (delayed until May? What the fuck?).

I read what you said. It's the same old "only losers talk sales, unless we're in PS3's safe zone."

This place has tons of multiconsole owners, unfortunately PS3 has been a massive disappointment up till now. And that doesn't seem to be changing much through the first half of 08 (or beyond?). I would be very pleased if there were reasons to turn my PS3 on that weren't already covered by my 360.

Perhaps if the Sony contingent didn't feel the need to label every new month as THE CORNER TURNED then multiconsole owners wouldn't feel the need to lolz all the time.

Amazing how a sequel to a launch game (shock of shocks) counts as a megaton for PS3. The rest is irrelevant.
