Anyone played Alien Syndrome Wii?

I have it on PSP and rather like it (once you get furthere in, get better guns and stop fighting those crawling turds)

The Wii version supports up to 4 players at once and I am intrigued by it....

How is it?

i played it for the psp and it's a fun, if ultimately shallow top down shooter.

It's pretty good.  For a few hours at least.  By its nature it is a very repetitive, unambitious game.  Get it cheap.  Or free.

The reason im curious about the Wii edition is that I wonder if having three 3 friends over and playing it Gauntlet style on one screen could make it more fun.

I have the Master System Alien Syndrome, it's OK but the graphics are really garish, monster spawn rates are ridiculous, and controls suck thanks to the SMS' awful d-pad...

Aye in this case the Wii version is much better than the PSP edition;

- point to aim shooting controls are better
- NO slowdown where as the PSP had much slowdown
- silly minigames that do break up the otherwise repetitive gameplay
- easier to see the details
- lighting/shadows

Glad I got this - I had fun playing multi earlier....
