Playstation Store - 1/10

Not really anything killer this week.

A bunch of add on content for Folklore (looks like alot of stuff) and RockBand...I dont have or want either game.

I did get to download and play the Kayne and Lynch demo...I played it a second time, got the controls and still think its not so good. I dont have the full games context to comment on - but its pretty bland and non-fun.

They added a new section to the store for PSP only downloads and brought the content from the PC PS Store over to the PS3.

I downloaded "Beats" for $5 and think its decent fun. You can load up your own MP3's as stages and play a DDR style rhythm game to your own tracks. ITs only good because you can rokk your own music.

I also downloaded Ape Quest for PSP but havent tried it yet. Im not really a fan of Ape Escape.

"Beats" for PSP was cool but the PSStore blows this week (unless yer into 16 new Folklore missions)

Playstation Store has been ass since launch, it needs an interface upgrade, jesus christ is it the 90s again?

OK, sorry but I got a GAF/PSN question here.

How the hell can GAF have a PSN thread every week and have it reach 15-20 pages regardless of how meaningless the update is?  Not only that, but then they create fucking banners along with listing additional content that god only knows when it'll show up.  What the hell is wrong with these people?  What the hell could they possibly be discussing?  How great that it is that you can download "Interstate Love Song" for Rock Band?

This is my biggest problem with the PS guys over there now.  Everyone seemingly has turned into fucking creepy virals.

There is no improvement in the downloadable PSOne games over the disk PSOne games.

You can play them on the PS3 or the PSP - thats all.

What I typed in the OP is about as much as I could say about a week like this.

Beats is very fun tho for PSP.....your albums becomes games - each song a stage..... I love playing thru my fave dance albums.

Beats isn't on the Japan Store.     I see it up for download, but most are saying it doesn't work on custom firmware.
