Wonder why the American delay is so much longer, relatively speaking. They better provide more levels or something.  :maf

So why is it on the Wii?

Because the Wii has the best graphics of any of the consoles currently out in Japan (Wii, PSP, and DS).

To be fair, Particle Reality is right.  It WILL be Wii's killer Christmas game.  Christmas 2008, that is.

I hope dumbass impatient fantards import Wiis for the J-version only to find that it gets delayed alongside the U.S. version or something similarly hilarious.

What about Mario Kart Wii?  I figured that was the killer Christmas game.

Suck my balls you heathen

GTAIV was only delayed once, so we GTA fans aren't getting the short end of the stick. We'll have the last laugh anyways. Best sales of 2008, best game of 2008, goty, done. Sealed. CLOOOOSED.

Nintendo has used Mario kart as their big xmas release for both cube and DS and they both came out rather well it terms of sales.

It has the potential to deliver.  Nintendo shouldn't have two huge multiplayer centric titles for one time period.

Smash Bros. Brawl - March/April/May
Mario Kart Wii - September/October/November

It amazes me that this is about all Nintendo has to offer-- two more sequels to series that are made over and over and over and over again, and yet their console is on top.
