I'm getting opportunities to play games I've never played before (I got a massive amount of points) - like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Puzzle Fighter and Puzzle Quest. Plus, after playing Carcassone and Omega Five, I take back calling it a gimmick. XBL Arcade has better releases some months than the 360 lineup!

I think XBLA is great. I'm not too impressed with the most of rest of the 360 library since I have a good gaming PC and prefer to game on that, but XBLA is great fun and pretty well implemented.

Lord knows I've bitched up and down about how awful XBLA was during it's first year and a half but I gotta admit that it's really come along. I still think there's room for improvement (how 'bout some more freakin' board games like Catan?) and I'd like to see even more than 2 games released a week, but at least now the quality has improved dramatically.

Kinda OT here, but one thing I noticed is that I was pretty much free to bitch and moan all I wanted about XBLM and XBLA over at GAF (I think I was forever a thorn in arne's ass), however if I say one negative thing about PSN I'll get a group of distinguished mentally-challenged fellows on my back. I even get PM's wishing me to die. Jesus, it's really fucking crazy.

Sony fans have become bat shit insane this last year or so. I they feel like they have to protect the fucking hive even though they probably know it isn't worth it.

At one time I actually considered getting a credit card just to replace my 360 that had a fried ethernet port (but the rest of it worked fine) just so I could download Mutant Storm Empire.

The vast majority are $5 or $10 (400 or 800 points). Marble Blast Ultra is $5. Puzzle Quest is $15, but it was released as a full game on the DS. It's more than worth the $15. Can one of you guys let me beat you in PQ so I can get the achievement? It's the only one I need.

EDIT: There for a time, I dreamed about falling off the skinny ledges onto the last jewel, only to land out of bounds and have to restart the stage all over again.

The Wii doesn't save your CC number, which can be a pain inputing your CC number everytime you purchase a game. The 360 does. Only the four digits of your CC number appear, as per standard vendor policy regarding cc numbers. But your info is saved. If you are paranoid about things like that just buy the points cards.

The previously mentioned Marble Blast and Omega Five, either of the Mutant Storms, Castlevania, Alien Hominid, EETS IS FUCK AWESOME, but anything newer than July you're gonna hafta ask somebody else about.
