X-Files question.
« on: January 17, 2008, 12:18:35 PM »
I've recently seen two episodes(Closuer and one with two teenage witches) and I enjoyed both but apparently the series gets worse or doesn't stay up to par along the course. So I'm wondering should I buy the complete set or should buy the first couple of seasons and carry on from there?

Season 1-5 = Fantastic
Season 6-7: Ok
Season 8-9: Shit

The first movie is between season 5 and 6 by the way.

Yes, definitely a drop in quality after Mulder is less involved with the series, but I thought the finale was decent enough.

Spook of the week episodes (Tooms storyline) were amazing throughout the series though, at least through season 7

You can get season 1 and 2 fairly cheap, so start there.

After season 6, move on to Millennium. It's a MUCH better show.
