I'd fill this thread with awesome pics, but everything is pretty much blocked at work.
I just played Soul Blader this weekend and finished it up last night. I had only played Illusion of Gaia as a kid, but knowing that this and Terranigma were similar in awesomeness, I picked the triology up for about $40 total.
Its butt-rock fueled soundtrack kept rocking to the end. The end was a bit tacky with giant sprite of crying anime girl but whatever. The levels were increasingly challenging, which was nice, but the boss fights constantly wavered from being piss easy to nails hard.
Starting up Illusion when I get home. This will be like my third play of it, so I know it still holds up.
Terranigma is supposed to be the best of all three, right?
