When I was going to Disney World at Christmas we stopped at some place to eat in Florida and in this group behind us this one guy was talking about his parents and how his dad was a pedo and his mom was a slut. Apparently his dad was in his 20's or 30's and got his mom pregnant at 14. All I could do was think about GAF and EB and all the messed up stories we get that either come out of Florida or Germany. SMH. The dude looked like a pedo too, must have gotten his father's traits.

I hated college food

But I was poor and hungry and had no choice. College food forced me to learn how to cook and I found out that I really enjoyed cooking.

You're in Orlando, scrounge up some cash and hit Int'l Drive... so many awesome restaurants there. Including Bahama Breeze, my favorite chain ever

(and only in SE US to my knowledge...) There's some good Cuban food in Florida too, at least better than what we have here, try getting some of that.

I was a college student in Buffalo, greasy food capital of the world... not sure how I made it out of there w/o ballooning up to 500 pounds, I was eating wings at least 2x per week, along with beef on weck, Ted's hot dogs, Mighty Taco, all sorts of awesome Buffalo-only stuff.

Wow. That sucks. My old college only provided brunch and dinner on weekend days. On regular days they provided the normal 3 meals.

i just ate an actual MEAL. Cafeteria had a make yer own sandwich thing and i made an awesome masterpiece and had some chips.

You are new to the world, right? Hotels have "continental breakfast" all the time, and that's all it is - bagels, cereal, juice...

to my abject shame, Florida is the only place in the US i've been to.

also - note to chicken delivery services in Florida. I enjoyed the delivery chicken, but when i ordered the "family pack" of chicken, i expected it to feed a family of 4 -regular- sized humans... seriously, they delivered us what can only be described as a "chicken planet" - after 6 of us had went at it for the best part of 50 minutes , there was still over 80 pieces of chicken left.

... this isn't going to be making Himu feel any less hungry is it?

Yeah my wife and I noticed the extremely greater ratio of fat>skinny people down there. $:-\$

seriously, you can eat that at anytime. I was with a bunch of friends at a friend's apartment a couple nights ago from like 1 A.M. to 8 A.M. and we figured we need some breakfast or something so we went to safeway and made a humongous breakfast of omelet's, top ramen, and monster coffee drinks.

THAT is how you eat in college.

I also thought that continental breakfasts meant an actual breakfast. The only time I've had one was in a hotel in another country but it had everything you could ever imagine.

It's bullshit how colleges don't serve food on weekends, or like here, only serve during very limited hours at the one place farthest away from where I live. Then during the weekday's you have to go during the off hours (8 am, 3 pm) to not eat in a fucking zoo. Dining Halls suck ass.
