Great game.  Definitely one of the best of '07.  I will probably replay to get all the achievements.

It's my GOTY of 2008, which is quite an accomplishment, since there were quite a few great games in 2008.  Sure, there were shooters with better combat or graphics, but the overall package of Bioshock is one of the best gaming experiences ever.  Recently, many next-gen games have tried to impress us in the area of storytelling but only Bioshock has delivered so far.

Playing through on hard for my 1st playthrough, its not that hard at all, after coming off CoD4 on veteran

and whats the deal with the glitched little sisters? Killed a big daddy and the little sister just legs it sometimes, cant find the bitch, then the games like "omg u didnt get all the little sisters rofl" then I go back and still cant find her... any tips? apparently they hide in holes or something...

might be time to take a break from this and play something more wholesome, like Omega 5

man what a poopy ending, the last boss was lol though

still 750 Gs for one playthrough is pretty good, might have to replay it on easy for the little sister, tonics and diary achievements

yeah the game really did slow down after that bit you mentioned but as far as the story arc goes the pacing was pretty spot on

what an amazing game

yeah, i loved THAT moment and was really excited to see where else the game could go from there, but was kind of upset with the last few bits.

and the last boss i actually enjoyed for the visual appeal as he looks like Atlas from Rockefeller Center which of course tied the whole thing together a bit more.

but overall, great game.  having played it on PC, I have no incentive to go back and play it again for a few years.
