Not sure why I bought this. Thought they made three movies but only found out THEY TURNED THE TWO SEASONS INTO THREE MOVIES! Truth be told the music CD that comes with is KINDA badass and has a lot of trance-sounding stuff. Still I spose I can appreciate this kind of delivery of the show, I DO enjoy watching Death and Rebirth of Evangelion for the same reason. Who wants to watch 50 freaking episodes more than a few times rite

an astute observation! i like the world of ff12 -- the characters? not so much -- and i <3 matsuno for giving the world the ogre games. i WANT it to be good, but it's just so not. also, akatoshi kawazu (who can fuck my dumper any day of the week) was an executive producer on revenant wings, which is what i told myself while buying it at gamestop, tears of shame streaming down my cheeks

I saw Dawn of the Dead for the first time on cable last night. What a ridiculous movie.

I didn't buy anything today, but I bought the 12 month Xbox Live Gold card yesterday.

I flipped around and checked out the Blu Ray of Dawn of the Dead. PQ on DotD is great. Don't expect miracles, but the color is better, the detail on cloth and surfaces is very nice, background text is clear and legible, and boy can you ever see how cheap the makeup is now. Unless there is ever a Warner-styled Ultra Resolution remastering of this film with some digital cleanup work done, this is probably the best DotD will ever look. Most of the features from the 4-Disc set have been ported over, with the exception of Document of the Dead, so you might want to keep the DVD set for that - or rip and burn that disc. At a very reasonable $19.99, the Blu Ray is a no-brainer if you want HD Dawn.

I want Suspiria in HD. Unfortunately, I think that may be beyond a quality transfer because every copy I've ever seen of it appears as though Argento keeps the film stock in a shoe box under his bed

Not only that, but I am sure a new HD-quality trasnfer isn't on anyone's radar of important things to do.

Which one had Triple H in it? I hated that one with a passion. Blade 1 was pretty good, lacked spider man though.

Kawazu didn't have any direct involvement with the design of FFXII (for which he was also an exec producer) and I doubt he had any for Revenant Wings either.
