Yeah, that's what really sucks. Ledger had really been building himself quite a reel the past several years. Went out way too young. It's going to be difficult watching The Dark Knight interviews now.

It actually makes me want to see Dark Knight more, to be honest. Just to see how they'll handle it - to be sure there will be some digital work done here and there that the average filmgoer won't even be aware of. I had no interest in seeing The Crow until Brandon Lee got shot here in town while filming (I actually know a guy who was on the set at the time). I was curious about how they'd pull it off - quite well, as it turned out.

I'll see TDK, but I'm more upset for Gilliam. That poor man has not been able to catch a break in like over a decade. His new movie was the first personal pic that he's had a budget for in years, and now one of the stars dies while it's being filmed.

Yes, it'll be hard for some people to watch TDK now (although I don't know why--it's not like you know him), but it will probably be impossible to see the new Gilliam movie! Because it won't get finished now!

And oddly enough, his Joker looked eeriely similar to Brandon Lee's The Crow appearance. Coincidence?

I wonder if his method acting for The Dark Knight led him to drugs and whatnot. He hadn't really been a big party or drug guy in the Hollywood circuit prior to his death. Just weird.

Even though the film is essentially in post production - his death will cause noticeable setbacks. They'll still be able to bring a finished product to theaters. I'm not sure how Gilliam is going to handle this, though. Might have to reshoot the whole damn thing.

It's hard to kill yourself with pills alone, though. He was either trying to kill himself or there was some sort of interaction (like taking something else). Your stomach will make you puke before you try to poison yourself with a large dose of something, and all pills take a while to dissolve.
