Actually, I like the Shins as a result of a Postal Service cover I found on one of their single CDs. After that, I downloaded all of their albums.

I've never seen Garden State, but that like makes for a witty response.

"SO, have you heard of the Shins" "Have I!" It's sort of Indy enough for them to think theyre cool, but big enough that a lot of people have heard of them.
