So I traded in Meteos. I guess I just didn't 'get' it.

I remain devoted to Lumines. I tried Meteos, i thought on the side I could make it work. Maybe arrange some lunch dates to try and keep it from public notice, but in the end all that work was for nothing, it just didnt work out.

Maybe it was just our differences. I wanted a complex relationship. Meteos would offer me that to my face, but then id turn around and see some other guy doing better than me by simply rubbing faster and harder. Is that all it was about? Rubbing faster and harder? I dont know if I want a game like that, I sorta wanted something that I could have as much fun with mentally as I did physically, but i guess you dont always get what you ask for.

I found the game to be lacking to some degree.  I enjoyed the feel of the game initially, but in the end I still think it comes up short when compared to the better puzzle games ever made.  I would put it in the "good" category of puzzle games though.  I still own it, and don't have any plans of selling it anytime soon.  It's still a unique experience with the touch screen and all.

I did get Mario vs DK2 a few weeks ago tho, I love it. A lot of people said its too easy and short, but ive found it as challenging as id want it to be, and with my track record for finishing games..well...LOLZ

I did finish VP2 tho, that was a commitment but GOD DAMN is it worth it.

I never played Meteos.  I was pretty anti-touch screen when I bought a DS and remained that way until recently.  I just started playing Trauma Center and it's changing my mind.  I'm picking up Elite Beat Agents as my second touch screen game because of the wank-fest at GAF over it.  Maybe I'll try it out since I really like Lumines.
