You know, for a free game Undertow ain't half bad.  I was never sold on it off of the demo but after fooling around with it earlier today, I gotta admit that it's strangely addicting.  I'd still never spend 10 bucks on the thing but lord knows there's worse stuff on XBLA than this.

Give me tips on this game.  I'm playing single player and its getting fucking hard.

are you playing on Normal?

Im assuming you are... just keep plugging at it, explore a bit and learn where the power ups are in your stage (the shield is pretty useful for wasting lots of baddies and capturing a control point, and all powerups respawn after a minute or so)... and yeah, theres not much esle to the game you just have to get quite good at it, learn the best way to attack certain control points, know when to keep trying to capture new spots or just hold out where you are until you win.... and dont forget to use your depth charges! they are really powerful and once you learn how to aim them well you can take out 3 baddies with one charge easy

The corsair is generally the best class to use, so level that one up to max first, the missiles shoot quick and give nice splash damamge also

Yeah, the game can be a bitch even on normal.  I bumped it down to distinguished mentally-challenged fellow easy casual mode and had a good time just looking at all the purty colors.  The game is actually pretty impressive graphic wise - especially so for XBLA.  Sure the cut scenes are LOL-worthy and the dialogue was recorded with such a low bit rate that everyone sounds like they're talking into a sewer drain but I love the way the screen distorts to give the impression of water and the explosions look nice and meaty.

You can do the campaign on co-op, right? I don't think that I'll be able to beat the game by myself on the ultra. Your teammates in are dumb.

Just downloaded it this morning.  Graphics are pretty amazing for a 50mb game.  I was quite surprised. 

I just played the 1st level without paying much attention to the rules.

It seems like a fun distraction but I wouldn't pay more than $5 for it.  MS should give out a game like this every month as a marketing tool.

its pretty fucking difficult aye, managed to get halfway thorugh the game then just gave up. You definitely need a buddy to complete it with. You got the swim pals achieve? We can do the whole campiagn on co-op ultra and hopefully pick up both achievements. Bear in mind e will need to re-try several stages.. Im not sure when I'll be on the xbox today, theres other factors at ome that may prevent me from being on it  :'( But I'll msg you next time I see you on live regardless
