I think the last Dischord bands I liked were Q and not U, Faraquet, and of course The Evens.  I haven't even given them attention lately.  If Fugazi ever put out another album I would be on that day one, though.

I guess it's kind of cool that they went out on a high note, but I want what comes next!  I do like The Evens material, and I like that it is very different than Fugazi, but I needs my rockin and rollin.

I don't steal for "karmatic refuge."  I steal because I like music and it is across-the-board overpriced.  I purchase classical because it is largely not overpriced.

My belief is simple: Downloading -- No
                          Streaming -- Okay

Thus I never download anything, yet if I find something on a streaming site like youtube I'll watch it

I dunno, I weirdly feel sorry for Sony regarding the PSP (they actually made a quality portable and it's like they're being punished for it by the fans who pirate everything), so I have bought tons and tons of PSP games.

Actually, not at all.  Look at it this way:  Sony has been trying to get their shitty, shitty memory stick format to take off for almost a decade.  What was the thing that finally made it so memory sticks are ALWAYS sold out at my local Circuit City?  Yep.

Sony makes bank on the systems, and they make EVEN MORE on the memory stick market.  Sony could have squashed the homebrew market by now, but they really have little reason to.  I think anyone with half a brain knows that nothing on the PSP is going to be a sales legend.  Piracy *is* their market.

Those are some great points.

I am not going to try to defend my actions with regard to piracy. I know it's wrong. However, I paid $130 for my 8 GB memory stick, and I sure as hell am going to get my money's worth.

but probably half of my Less Than Jake discography is burned.

i've been listening to hello, rockview and losing streak over and over and over at work

I think Hello Rockview is my favorite LTJ album, but for whatever reason, Mr. Chevy Celebrity and Johnny Quest (Thinks We're Sellouts) are my favorite songs, neither of which are on that album.

I got Hello Rockview when I was 15 from an old boyfriend for our one-month anniversary, haha. It's like the most adorable and most ridiculous little info tidbit ever.

I've heard rumors of people paying for porn, but I'm not sure if I believe it.

i've never actually downloaded porn.  It was too much work before (torrents and limewire).  I'd get so excited and then I'd search and names like "mom+cat+dog fucking incest anal reacharound like tubey wubey" would get me so excited I'd finish before it was done downloading.

youporn.com saved my porn life

Option # 3.  I don't like burning CD's or DVD's I like to support artists.  Do unto others so when I have a CD they'll buy mine too.  :-*
