Pursuit Force : Extreme Justice
« on: January 29, 2008, 01:22:30 AM »
Anyone getting this Wednesday (or earlier)?

I had good times with the first and this looks to improve on the game a bit.

I hope some of the new games with vehicle combat learn a thing or 2 about melee-moving-vehicle-combat from Pursuit Force.

Is this also coming out on PS2, or is it the original game that's being ported up?

EDIT: PS2 too...with split-screen multi.

I only had the original briefly; liked the concept but felt it needed work.  If this is good I'm all over it.  I'll definitely give it a try as soon as it's "available."

Cool.  I'll give it a "rent."  Yeah, that's the ticket.  A rent.

This has been "available" since early December, I see.  Did it already come out in Europe?  I never saw anyone talk about it.

It did indeed hit Europe and Australia last month.  The Gamefaqs board (lol, I know) has some people who seem to have enjoyed playing through it.  One guy said it's up there with Syphon Filter Dark Mirror.  It appears to have challenges, too.  PSP achievements!

Pretty underwhelming.  I don't like that the majority of the first and second mission was nothing more than driving forward.  Then you run into the enemy, jump on the car, and shoot and duck to avoid fire.  Maybe it gets better as you go, but I already deleted it.

I thought the first game was a cool PSP game, but the difficulty just ruined the game.  It was brutally difficult, to the point where it drained any fun out of the game once you reached the halfway point.

I hope this sequel is a lot more forgiving, as I would never consider buying it unless it was.
