Im working on my Warlock, but to be honest I ONLY know Warlock and Rogue, but I want to roll a priest.

However, I want to roll a Holy Spec priest, Alliance side. Can someone givem e advice on how to handle this kind of build? Or even any specific build pointers? Im willing to fit a mold here. This character will exist on the side but I want to give it a shot with minimal time investment.

Holy damage requires a shitton of +damage gear. I think this one gives you solo and group utility, but I don't know for certain since I've never seriously played a priest, being that they're racist!

Lol, ok thanks. Ill give it a shot. I dunno what ill end up doing with it. The small guild ive joined has two priests and I thinkt theyre both shadow, so I might keep this around fo 5-mans and a little pvping...maybe. My warlock is sorta my pvp build. ANYWAY, thanks for the SERIOUS REPLY unlike Dark Shake who has to SHIT ON EVERYTHING

yeah I dont work that build of the warlock tree. Deathcoil is nice but im almost pure affliction, there is NOTHING like casting a shadowbolt while in full sprint. This build served me very well on Gilneas, and im probably going to do it on my new server.

Affliction is so badass.

I beat many purple toting idiots in BG. Purples are not a replacement for skill. You need to understand that ALL I DID was PVP for a few months. Raid skills do not translate into PVP skills, and the other way around. I cant wait to see raid purples destroyed by PVP gear. That's gonna rock.

You can play on muradin, ill try and get you into my guild, its like 6 people and we are all casual, dunno if we're better at getting intro groups tho, we are REAL casual lol. I think some of us like myself play maybe 5 hours a week at our slowest moments.

If you are going to roll a priest on alliance roll either a human (they have +5 spirit, which is excellent for priest) or roll a dwarf (they have fear ward, which is good for bosses that fear, ony, nef, etc) You don't want to go holy to level up, trust me it takes long enough to level as shadow, priest are one of the slowest classes to level. If you are planning on pvping holy make sure you have a good group as priest will always get FF'd. I can't really link my build because I'm at work and the WoW sites are blocked. When I get home I will. I've played a priest for a year now, and know the class inside and out. So feel free to ask me any questions.

I tried the Holy priest thing for leveling. It doesn't work. I gave up on it at level 40 when I was just absolutely worthless in solo play. Go Shadow and switch to Holy at level 55.

Nuke like crazy. Start with a Mind Blast, do a Shadow Word:Pain, Mind Blast, repeat endlessly. Fear them away if things get messy. You should also have the Spirit Tap talent to make downtime faster and the Mind Blast cooldown shortening talent.

Wow, you didnt go Spirit Tap (In your holy build)? Does that just have diminishing returns at higher levels? Also noticed you didnt go healing focus, is that not really that good? Also, do kills your GROUP make count towards spirit tap kicking in?

First five talent points I put into spirit tap to cut back on my milk intake lol

I didn't go spirit tap in holy build because I went holy at level 60 and you don't get xp for killing mobs at that level.

No healing focus because in raids I'm not supposed to really be taking any damage, it's a waste of points.
