Woo, hard to find, but I found it. It and the Straight Up edition are like two different movies.

i bougt some small plastic bags into which i will put my gaming chits and markers

i also bought the latest issues of Bidoun, a middle eastern arts and culture magazine, and Monocle, which is a sort of travel magazine, but it deals with unique things and has scooped The Economist, the BBC and CNN on trends (for example China in Africa in it's first issue).

I also snagged a casual cardgame called Walk The Plank which is a suite matching card game designed to be played in 10 minutes or less

MAF, if you like Payback, you should check out Point Blank:

Payback and Point Blank are adaptations of the same Donald E. Westlake novel, but Point Blank is much, much better done, IMO. Actually, according to Wikipedia, Payback is a remake of Point Blank! All the more reason to see the original. Lee Marvin is such a badass. The movie also has sexy, sexy Angie Dickinson.

And omg, Giant Robo.

I only saw the first two eps of Giant Robo, I hear it's worth watching though?

Never seen either Payback, which is worth seeing?

I "bought" the full run of the now complete Y: The Last Man and will probably try to dinner-for-one it tonight.

Giant Robo is one of the most awesome pieces of animation I have ever seen. Worth watching? Worth owning, worth treasuring.

Payback is a fun movie. Basically Mel Gibson and the original director got in a fight mid production and the movie eseentially split into two. I think the directors view (Straight Up Edition) is a better representation of the genre while Gibson's version is just more fun. I havent seen Point Blank, but I suspect these movies can co-exist.

I live pretty close to the University of Washington, and as such, there a bunch of used music shops up on the Ave. I figured I'd go over there and look through the used game bins and see what they had...

They had a bunch of Japanese PS2 games that some Japafag undergrads probably unloaded for quick cash. Only $30 for the two games above. Not bad at all.

Oh, and for T234, I bought a non-Moon language game, too.

no sir, the other games were bought at 9.99 used. i paid nothing up front for mass effect either. i had traded in assassin's creed towards mass effect.

edge, a coupon, and 3 games worth between 3 and 7 bucks each (before the 30% extra value) and then 10% off a used assassin's creed and I believe they gave me 20% extra trade in for trading in 4 games. I actually got 6.41 back as well

Oh. wait, did you mean how did I get 60 bucks for AC when I traded it towards mass effect? got 30 for the trade in and then I had two copies of hl2:ob (one as an early xmas present i didn't need). Nothing out of pocket except for my original AC
