hm, maybe that's the source of my router troubles. some device is corrupting the NAT tables, and i forgot my ps3 was connected lol.

I have my ps3 offline all the time, and the issues with my laptops getting a proper connection to the network with full resources vanished.

specifically, in my case, i think it's a combination of the srx200 and the ps3, since it allows devices to write nat traversal paths to the router itself, and i'm too lazy to turn it off. guess i'll do that now!

Just keep your ps3 offline for a bit and see if things change. I havent had an issue since.

i never use the remote play autostart/wake on LAN...so I have no experience with this and my airport network.

I do asign a static IP to the PS3 so certain online games can work right with the PS3 in the DMZ. Sometimes a mobile device like a notebook will cause a conflict because it was assigned the IP before the PS3 was turned on.....but thats just minimal fukkery.

hahah ya know - I have had to learn how to admin my PS3 a bit LOL....I manage allot of media on it tho and do monthly HDD backups....its file system does some strange unexplainable stuff to things like MP3 files on remote disks or even those copied t the PS3 HDD.

I can see some dejects really not getting the PS3...I bet geeksquad and firedog offer onsite support for that shyt hahaha

I cant send anyone a picture on my friends list because there is a limit and the PS3 doesnt autosize it for the PSN's odd and unmentioned messaging system attachment limit.

Same thing happened with my network when I had PS3 hooked up by wire. I had to disable auto-online.

I never had any issues with my wrt54g; i have 2 wired machines and about 4-5 wireless devices connected to it without any problem.
